Town Hall Meeting

Palmer Trucks is hosting a Town Hall Meeting on Alternative Fuels December 1st at 11:00 AM.

Participate with the panel of industry leaders and end users to learn more about how CNG and other alternative fuels can impact your bottom line.

   

The event is part of the Palmer Group's Annual Truck and Equipment Show at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. November 30 and December 1. The Show features over 80 vendors, free training sessions, new products on display, and demonstrations in the 65,000 square foot Marsh Blue Ribbon Pavilion.

The panel of industry leaders and manufactures, will present their expertise in Alternative Fuels. Joining the group will be current local fleet owners to share their experience and best practices. The Town Hall format will allow the audience to ask specific questions in this emerging technology. Several Trucks in Hybrid and CNG platforms will be featured and available for a "ride and drive." Following the meeting a lunch will be provided.

Andy Douglas is the National Sales Manager for Kenworth Truck Company, a division of PACCAR Inc. During his 30 year career in the transportation business, he has held numerous positions within PACCAR and its divisions including; Kenworth, PACCAR Financial and PacLease that included both domestic and International assignments. For the past 5 years, Mr. Douglas has lead Kenworth's "Green Initiatives" covering the growing markets for hybrid and Natural Gas products and has worked directly with the Ports of Los Angles, Long Beach, Oakland & Seattle on clean truck strategies. Mr. Douglas holds bachelor's degrees in finance and economics and a Masters of Business Administration.

Kelli Walsh Executive Director, Greater Indiana Clean Cities
Kellie Walsh has been the executive director for the Greater Indiana Clean Cities Coalition since 2002. In that time, she has assisted coalition stakeholders in securing over $14 million in federal and state funds to implement alternative fuel projects in both the public and private sectors. Walsh has been recognized by Senator Richard G. Lugar and Indiana's Lt. Governor Becky Skillman for her work in alternative fuels, especially biofuels. She is also a 2007 AFVi Conference Clean Cities Peer Award Recipient. Walsh was named the U.S. Department of Energy Clean Cities Coordinator of the Year in 2006 and Mentor of the Year in 2009.

Tim Williams is a Business Development Manager for Clean Energy, the nation's largest builder and operator of natural gas fueling stations. He resides in Chicago and represents the Upper Midwest area. Tim has worked for Roadway, FedEx, and APL Logistics over his career and obtained his B.S. in Marketing at Northern Illinois University.

Will McGlinchey President of AFV International www.afvtraining.net
Mr. McGlinchey has over thirty years of technical automotive experience, the last twenty dedicated to alternative fuels. His work has focused on training, teaching, and most recently, alternative fuels curriculum development, and project management. He retired from West Virginia University in June of 2002. He has since formed his own consulting company, AFV International LLC, to offer alternative fuel services internationally with successful contracts in France, Asia, the Philippines, Nigeria and South America.
